Mystik Molly - Time Traveller

 

Mystik Molly aka Melissa Lumley-Wright

Melissa was born in London in the 1960's.  She travelled the world with her family at an early age, visiting Europe, Greece, Egypt, Hong Kong, India, South Africa, Australia.  She has lived in many parts of the UK including Scotland, Wiltshire, Kent, Bristol, London, Surrey and Sussex.  Melissa grew up with a great love of history and mythology and was reading Homer, Shakespeare and Dickens at just seven years old.  Melissa has studied classical civilisation, ancient history, european humanities, archaeology, palaeontology, anthropology among other various subjects.  Melissa has taken part in a number of historial recreations including at Kentwell Hall when she taught Tudor Life and alchemy to visiting school groups and the general public; prehistoric re-enactments such as at Peat Moors Visitor Centre where she demonstrated Iron Age skills; and has worked as a Time Travel Guide at Archaeolink Prehistory Park in Aberdeenshire where she taught Iron Age history and archaeology to visiting school groups; has done Storytelling at such sites as Avebury, Stonehenge, Old Sarum and the Clava Stones.  Melissa has appeared on television (BBC1 BBC2 C4) radio (BBC Radio Kent) and in numerous magazines and newspaper articles.  Melissa appears as Mystik Molly the Time Traveller, as Molly the Storyteller and also arranges exhibits of her artefacts and artwork.
